    CFA Pooler: Be a part of the Highest Volume Chick-fil-A in Georgia and grow with us as we ramp up to our 2nd location in Pooler (Spring 2024)!

    Part-Time and Full-time: Preferred Availability for this role is 6 AM to 6 PM (working an up to an 8-hour shift between those hours).

    Job Overview: The Catering Team Member will participate in and enhance all catering operations. This role is primarily a day shift or early morning role. Schedule flexibility is required.

    The Catering Team Member is a well-organized, self-motivated, and independent Team Member, capable of multitasking and working under intense volume. The Catering Team Member will learn both Customer Service and Food Handling/Preparation methods consistent with the Chick-fil-A Standards of Excellence. They must be able to provide superior customer service to our catering guests. They also must assist with preparation of food items for catering orders, including hot food, cold food, and beverages.

    All of this must be done in a manner that serves our guests safe food. This is the method by which the Catering Manager

    will provide L.I.F.E. to all those we serve.

    Essential Functions

    ● Ensure all deferred orders are properly placed in the deferred order system

    ● Train all Leaders and applicable Team Members to properly input deferred orders into deferred

    order queue

    ● Organize the delivery of all deferred orders

    ● Organize the expediting of all pickup orders

    ● Ensure orders are delivered at the right time, place, and to right location

    ● Ensure food safety throughout the duration of the deferred order process

    ● Ensure good stewardship of all catering accessories including Temperature Management System

    ● Ensure all deferred deliveries are properly set up and dismantled according to Chick-fil-A

    standards

    Job Context

    ● Supervision Received

    ○ Reports directly to the Catering Director

    ○ All guidelines are set forth by the mission of the business

    ● Research and Analysis

    ○ All standard operating procedures must comply with or exceed Chick-fil-A and DPH

    standards. A working knowledge of all food safety operations is required.

    ● Accountability/Consequence of Error

    ○ The Catering Manager is a Team Member of Chick-fil-A Pooler and is therefore subject

    to all policies set forth in the Team Member Handbook.

    ● Personal Contacts

    ○ The Catering Manager regularly communicates formally and informally with all leaders

    and Team Members.

    ○ Updates and feedback will be given and received to/by Executive Director of Operations

    as needed.

    ● Supervision Exercised

    ○ The Catering Manager has no direct reports, but exercises indirect supervision over all

    Team Members.

    ● Physical Demands

    ○ The Catering Manager is subject to the physical demands set forth in the Team Member

    handbook, most importantly being able to lift fifty pounds.

    ● Work Hazards

    ○ The Catering Manager is subject to normal work hazards set forth in the Team Member

    handbook

    ● Personal Demands

    ○ The Catering Manager is an extension of the Executive Director of Operations, the

    Operator, and the Mission. It’s paramount that the Inventory Lead is capable and willing

    to interface with other Leaders, and Team Members.

    ○ The Catering Manager must have the desire and the ability to grow personally and

    operationally. They must also infuse this desire and ability into the culture of their

    business.

    ● Must be able and willing to delegate in certain situations

    ● Must have a working knowledge of Point of Sale as it relates to the deferred order queue

    ● Must have a desire and ability to train and develop leaders and Team Members to assist in the

    deferred order process

    ● Must have a working knowledge of critical control points related to the delivery of safe food
