Our Catering Driver is responsible delivering catering orders and executing the Catering vision of the Operator/Sales & Brand Growth Team, while also being brand ambassadors for Chick-fil-A of South Durham stores.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary role and responsibility of this position is to assist the Catering Manager and Catering Coordinator in the execution and preparation of catering deliveries for both CFA South Durham restaurants. This job pays $20 per delivery that encompasses any mileage reimbursement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:- Must have a valid state issued driver’s license- Clean driving record/reliable transportation- Reliable communication (I.e. a cell phone)- Previous delivery driver experience is preferred, but not required- 18 years or older- Must be punctual and professional- Resilient - able to resolve setbacks- The desire to go the second mile for all catering guests- Available for day shift or evening shift Monday - Saturday

RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliveries may range from 5-40 miles round trip. Deliveries include but are not limited to theDurham/Chapel Hill area, as well as some portions of Raleigh, Apex, Cary, and Morrisville.Majority of deliveries are between 7am-3pm, with some outside that time frame. CateringManager will communicate all deliveries the day before.- Deliver and set up food to guests- Ensure quality and accuracy of all orders- Attend to customer concerns as they arise on a delivery- Deliver to customers in a safe and timely manner- Energetic team members willing to serve others while working a fast-paced environment
