JOB OVERVIEW
The primary role and responsibility of the Training Manager is to support the Director of Training and Talent in leading teaching and coaching initiatives.
NEW HIRE ON-BOARDING & TRAINING
Assist Director of Training and Talent in successfully on-boarding new hires
Collaborate with leaders to ensure all new hires are set up for success in training
Lead systems to ensure new hires feel welcomed and appreciated
Manage CFA digital training platform
Regularly lead new hire training sessions in the restaurant
CONTINUAL TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Promote, support, and engage Team in all initiatives led by the Director of Training and Talent
Lead specific re-training topics in the restaurant each month
Serve as a training coach during normal operational hours
Develop and lead systems for tracking continual training needs
Regularly communicate with leadership team on training gaps and progress
PRODUCT ROLLOUT
Lead and execute new product rollout prior to product launch, utilizing digital training platform as necessary
Track individual training and product knowledge
Plan team member sampling
TRAINER TEAM
Collaborate with Director of Training and Talent to recruit eligible and talented Team Members to join the Trainer Team
Lead Trainer applicant interviews
Support in leading quarter Trainer Meetings
Track ongoing performance of all trainers
OPERATIONAL EXPECTATIONS
Engage in at 20 hours of restaurant operations per week, schedule adjustments require approval by Director of Training and Talent
Work with Restaurant Operational Directors to identify gaps and training priorities
Proficiency in operational manager-related duties in order to serve the restaurant
Availability to serve in both Front and Back of House as needed, proficiency in both
ADMINISTRATIVE
Update Director of Training and Talent in weekly individual meeting
Assist weekly in updating Training Budget
Organize and communicate New Hires’ training schedules

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1 years of training/leadership experience
Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) and build relationships to all levels of the organization
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Flexible scheduling around the needs of the business
Available weekdays and weekends (excluding Sundays)
Must have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
