    Job Summary: We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Front of House Shift Leaders at Chick-fil-A Fashion Island Shopping Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Front of House team members, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and efficiently running the shift.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of Front of House team members, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and providing guidance when needed. Have a hands on approach to leadership, working alongside the team and having the service mentality of “no job is beneath you”.
    2. Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, adhering to Chick-fil-A policies and local health department guidelines.
    3. Customer Service: Demonstrate and enforce excellent customer service, ensuring all guests receive a positive and memorable experience.
    4. Shift Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the Front of House during assigned shifts, including cash control, order accuracy, and maintaining an excellent speed of service. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards, and local regulations.
    5. Training and Development: Assist in training new team members on Chick-fil-A procedures, policies, and standards, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service, aiming for a positive "Who does that?" response.
    6. Guest Relations: Handle guest complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues to maintain positive customer relationships.
    7. Cash Handling: Responsible for accurate cash handling procedures, including balancing cash drawers, processing payments, and preparing deposits.
    8. Inventory and Restocking: Monitor inventory levels, anticipate needs, and ensure proper restocking of supplies, condiments, and other necessary items.
    9. Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the restaurant's dining area and Front of House are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
    10. Team Development: Foster a positive work environment by motivating and encouraging team members, recognizing their contributions, and providing constructive feedback.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a leadership role in the foodservice industry preferred.
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States
    • Must have a reliable source of transportation
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Full-time Preferred, Part-Time Ok
    • Ability to work weekends (Friday/Saturday) and holidays.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure, and prioritize tasks.
    • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
    • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
    • Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for extended periods.
