Marketing Assistant
Description: The marketing assistant will be an individual who is self-motivated and who implements creative thinking and disciplined execution to strengthen emotional connections associated with the Chick-fil-A brand.
Overview: Marketing assistant will devote 10-15 hours a week to planning, activating, and reviewing our marketing strategy. The remaining balance of hours will be dedicated to supporting the day to day operations of the restaurant.
Expectations: The marketing assistant will create, activate, and review our marketing strategy at the restaurant level which includes but is not limited to:
In restaurant marketing:
Maintaining monthly marketing calendar which determines daily, weekly, and monthly focus
Managing our monthly marketing budget
Updating point of purchase marketing items
Sets goals for suggestive selling and sampling
Activates intentional acts of kindness with our customers
Digital/Social Media:
Maintains Facebook and Instagram platforms
Routine review of mobile ordering and CFA One app usage
Utilizing spotlight platform to engage mobile and digital customers
Mall marketing:
Activates business of the week program
Distribute food samples to mall employees
Advertise in the mall with signage
Review mall calendar to coordinate any partnerships
Leverage the cow mascot routinely in the mall
Outside opportunities:
Grow catering sales
Establish tracking and follow up with current customers
Proactively source new catering opportunities
Community events
School partnerships
Donation requests

Passion: The marketing assistant will know and love the Chick-fil-A brand
Competency: Possesses marketing and business acumen
Organized and disciplined: Can create and stick to a marketing plan, maintains a budget, plans ahead for any activations
Relational/Caring: Displays genuine care for building relationships with giests and fellow employees and is concerned with the "heart health" of the business
Creative: Works side by side with Operator in generating new/fun ideas to win people over to Chick-fil-A
