Training Director
Description: The training director will be a high-performing individual (CFA way) who possesses a high-level of training ability, oversees all aspects of training and development, and creates remarkable training experiences that yield remarkable guest experiences.
Overview: The training director position is a full-time (30 hours) position that requires coordination with director of operations in order to fulfill training needs for new and current TM’s. TD will determine training/project hours based off of need and training hours calculator.
Expectations:
Operational Leadership:
o Majority of time will be spent leading operations and it is vital the TD is someone who practices CFA way and understands the WHY behind the WHAT
o Coaching and training should be happening in conjunction with shift leadership
o Provide necessary feedback when necessary
New Hire Training:
o Once made aware of new hire TD should coordinate scheduling with Director of Operations so that TM is scheduled with a certified trainer in order to guarantee a remarkable training experience.
o Follow all new hire templates
o Assign E-train modules and track completion rates
o Inform new hire of development process
Recurring Training
o Training director should have regular training focuses for the team based off of gaps in performance
o Assigns E-train templates to recertify at appropriate times
Meetings
o Coordinate with directors to establish monthly training focus
o Bring relevant reports related to training progress (E-train)
o CEM data to show effects of training efforts
o Meet with certified trainers to employ their assistance in training new hires and current employees
Qualities:
Detail oriented- What makes the difference between good and great is attention to many small detail. TD must be passionate about these details in order to get TM to care.

Communicator- able to explain the why behind the what. Skilled at giving feedback that builds up
Results:
CEM: Main metric to gauge success is CEM scores in relevant areas. OSAT- 78, Taste-80, Speed 77, ACE- 85%
Completion of training projects and tasks- (Pathway, Self-select E-RQA)
