    CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    LOCATION: EL SEGUNDO, CA                                                       

    DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN

     

     

    We are looking for a skilled Business to Business Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service Team. This role is responsible for the order processing and fulfillment process. A successful candidate for this role has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and willingness to be a team player. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •      Open and maintain customer accounts by recording key account information.

    •      Enter EDI and Manual orders ensuring pricing is correct and delays or inventory shortages are communicated with Sales and Customers

    ·         Contributes to achieving key performance indicators, including daily sales, on-time performance, open orders, and department efficiency.

    •      Ensures the attainment of customer delivery service targets.  Proactively identifies and escalates potential issues concerning customer-facing issues.

    •      Responsible for key accounts, ensuring best in class service and communication.

    •      Collaborates with other departments, including Logistics, Integrated Business Planning, and Sales.

    •      Assists with the clearing of deductions and executes on policies to prevent future deductions.

    •      Works with Customer Service Manager to develop solutions on common problems.

    •      Process returns, as necessary.

    •      Other responsibilities as assigned.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    •      0 - 4 years’ experience within a customer support position, preferably within an order entry or order fulfillment role

    •      4 – 6 years’ experience within a customer support position, preferably within an order entry or order fulfillment role in lieu of college degree

    •      Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.

    •      Proficient in Microsoft Excel

    •      Excellent written/verbal communication skills and organizational skills. Communicates effectively and interacts professionally with customers, co-workers, and management.

    •      Utilize company wide communication tools such as Microsoft Team’s and Skype for Business.

    •      SCHEDULE: 7:30 AM TO 4:30PM PST

     

    PREFERENCES:

    •      Experience in multiple ERP Systems (i. e. Oracle, AS400, etc.)

    •      Experience with end to end supply chain, product distribution and billing systems.

    •      Prior Consumer Products and Food Service experience servicing sales and operations.

    •      Takes initiative, works independently with minimal supervision while exercising good business judgment.

    •      Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, multi-task and use time effectively.

    •      Demonstrate attention to detail.
