    We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Chief Engineer to lead our Engineering and Maintenance operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the overall safety, functionality, and aesthetic excellence of our resort facilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a passion for maintaining luxury hospitality environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee daily operations of the Engineering and Maintenance departments across both properties

    Ensure all buildings, guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and grounds are maintained to the highest standards

    Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program

    Manage resort systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, pools, and generators

    Lead and supervise maintenance team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

    Coordinate and oversee outside contractors, renovations, and capital improvement projects

    Maintain inventory levels and approve purchase orders for supplies and equipment

    Ensure compliance with all OSHA, ADA, fire/life safety, and local/state building codes

    Conduct inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure guest satisfaction

    Develop and manage departmental budgets; monitor expenses and prepare reports
