We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility maintenance team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a key contributor to our operations team, the Chief Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance while driving high-quality performance across all maintenance functions. Responsibilities: • Assist in budget planning, including estimating costs for repairs and capital improvement projects. • Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence. • Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. • Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards. • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth. Qualifications: • At least 5 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, including team leadership. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software systems. • In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. • Proven leadership and team management skills, including hiring, training, and performance oversight. • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
