We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, complies with safety standards, and meets brand expectations. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence. • Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards. • Create and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth. • Support budget planning by providing accurate cost estimates for repairs and capital improvement initiatives. Qualifications: • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. • Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking or work order systems. • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems. • High school diploma or equivalent required. Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly
