We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead our facility maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven experience managing maintenance teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a key member of our operations team, the Chief Engineer ensures all building systems operate efficiently, comply with safety standards, and meet brand expectations. Responsibilities: • Assist in budget planning, including estimating costs for repairs and capital improvement projects. • Lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance department, ensuring consistent quality, safety, and operational excellence. • Serve as the primary liaison with brand partners to ensure compliance with evolving brand standards. • Evaluate building systems to determine necessary maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. • Hire, train, schedule, and manage the performance of maintenance staff. Qualifications: • Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems. • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. • Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience. • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex maintenance issues. • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff development, evaluations, and scheduling. Compensation: $21+ hourly
