Position Overview: The Chief Engineer at LiveHappy, LLC, is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering activities within an organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency in engineering processes. The Chief Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, set strategic goals, and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: o Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.

o Collaborate with executive leadership to define the long-term vision and goals for the engineering department.

• Leadership and Team Management: o Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

o Recruit, train, and mentor engineering staff, promoting professional development and growth.

• Project Management: o Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within budget and timeline constraints.

o Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Technology and Innovation: o Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

o Drive innovation within the engineering department, promoting the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: o Collaborate with other departments, such as product development, research and development, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

o Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.

• Risk Management: o Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with engineering projects.

o Implement effective risk management strategies to ensure project success.

• Budget and Resource Management:

o Help develop and manage the engineering department budget.

o Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.

• Quality Assurance: o Help implement and monitor quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality products or services.

o Help establish and maintain quality control standards.

• Regulatory Compliance: o Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications. o Collaborate with regulatory affairs to address compliance issues.

• Reporting and Analysis: o Prepare regular reports on engineering activities, project status, and key performance indicators.

o Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

• Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior engineering management role.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in plant operation, CMMS and BMS.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to align engineering activities with overall business objectives.
