As we continue to expand, we are seeking a strategic, detail-driven, and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and elevate our financial operations to the next level. Position Overview: The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning and strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. This individual will act as a thought partner to the CEO, providing expert guidance on company financial health and helping shape long-term growth strategies. The CFO must bring both strategic acumen and hands-on experience, ideally with a background in healthcare or service-based businesses. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning Oversee and produce
Bookkeeping
Tax Preparation
accurate financial reports
, dashboards, and KPIs for leadershipAnalyze revenue streams and
provide strategic advice to improve profitability
Partner with leadership to evaluate and execute growth strategiesEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and
optimize cash flow management
Work closely with accountants or external CPA firms to manage taxes, audits, and filingsLead and mentor finance/admin staff (as applicable)Implement and oversee financial systems and controlsAdvise on risk management and company investmentsProvide financial modeling for expansion efforts, hiring, new services, or geographic growth
Qualifications:
CPA required (or equivalent financial credentials)Proven experience as CFO, Controller, or senior finance role (preferably in healthcare or service industry)Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelingExperience with QuickBooks, Gusto, or similar financial tools/softwareStrategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skillsTrack record of improving profitability and advising on revenue strategiesComfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in home health, healthcare staffing, or care servicesUnderstanding of non-medical Medicaid billing or private pay structuresExperience working with investor relations or capital fundraising is a plus
