A well-established investment management firm is seeking a CFO to join their dynamic company. The CFO is a critical leadership role within the organization operating across entertainment, real estate, and private equity. This executive will oversee all financial, strategic, and administrative functions across the enterprise and serve as a core advisor to the Founder & CEO.
Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Leadership
- Lead all financial functions across the company, including capital planning, FP&A, portfolio strategy, and treasury management.
- Serve as the architect of the company’s consolidated financial roadmap, integrating real estate, business, and entertainment cash flows.
- Act as financial quarterback for major deals, JV structuring, and new ventures.
- Partner with business unit leaders to scale margin and maximize asset utilization.
- Manage internal and external relationships with lenders, advisors, and institutional partners.
Capital Markets & Lender Relations
- Source, structure, and execute debt-based capital solutions (bridge loans, refis, sale-leasebacks, lines of credit).
- Manage lender relationships (e.g., MidCap), covenants, and reporting obligations across all credit facilities.
- Support or lead investor communications and future capital raising
Accounting, Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls, accounting systems, and reporting structures.
- Ensure financial decisions comply with trust and tax structures.
- Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance in partnership with outside advisors.
Investment Oversight
- Evaluate and monitor investments across real estate, private equity, and alternatives.
- Perform diligence on acquisitions (real estate or operating companies) and manage execution alongside legal counsel.
- Track performance of SPVs, JV structures, and direct assets.
Risk Management
- Proactively assess and mitigate risk—financial, legal, reputational, and operational.
- Lead insurance strategy across all properties, equipment, entities, and assets
Legal, Contracts & Deal Execution
- Draft, review, and negotiate business-critical agreements (with legal counsel as needed).
- Ensure tight alignment between business intent, legal docs, and operating reality.
Qualifications
- 20+ years of progressive financial leadership, including experience in family office, private equity, entertainment, or real estate.
- Proven record of driving strategy, raising capital, and scaling fast-moving platforms.
- Prior exposure to debt financing, development, M&A, and organizational buildouts.
- Bonus: Experience in Hollywood/entertainment finance, production infrastructure, or facilities-based rollups.
