  • Responsibilities

    Insero Talent Solutions is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for a fast growing environmental manufacturing company in Batavia, NY.

    Responsibilities

    FP&A and Strategic Planning

    • Lead the development of the financial planning and analysis function.
      • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
      • Provide analysis related to future growth opportunities
    • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management and the board of managers.
    • Lead the company in the analysis of and transition to a new ERP.

      Accounting and Reporting

    • Oversee the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, TTB and other government regulations.
    • Oversee the annual audit process and ensure timely completion of tax filings.
    • Ensure strong internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and financial information.

    Treasury Management

    • Manage the liquidity and cash flow.
    • Oversee banking relationships.
    • Optimize working capital and manage debt.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead and mentor the team of finance and accounting professionals.

    Qualifications

    • B.S in Accounting, Finance or Business (CPA or MBA a plus)
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
    • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in financial software and tools (Dynamics GP, Excel, etc.)
    • Understanding of commodity markets desirable but not required

    $175,000-$225,000 per year
