** ROLE SUMMARY**
As a key member of the North America Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer North America will report to the North America President and holds a strategic role in supporting the North America Jack Link’s business. Primary day-to-day responsibility will be for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the North America Business. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, Capital Expenditures, FP&A, strategic planning, cash collection, plant controlling across 12 facilities, and master data with regular communications to the advisory board, leadership teams, and total business. In addition, the CFO oversees and manages the Finance Team within the North America business.
** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Work with the North America leadership team to lead all aspects of business performance, providing clear analytics and reporting and where appropriate action plans to accelerate wins or address issues.
Lead and deliver regular performance reporting for the global executives, with clear financial updates and selecting and delivering deep dives on appropriate topics to drive understanding and action.
Support business-first decision making on new initiatives, including new customers or products, innovation, or brand value engineering. This requires a strong cross-functional mindset and will not always be about a finance-first decision-making approach.
Provide context and rigorous prioritization to help the business navigate multiple cross functional goals, align on key decisions and priorities, and then commit and lead through with regular reporting and analytics to show progress and course correct.
Lead and build an Annual Operating Plan.
Support and coach the organization through the design and build steps of a multi-year SAP S4 Hana roll out, leveraging opportunities to improve and standardize processes and manage organizational change within the organization.
Track and manage the investment of trade dollars across the commercial team, work with sales leadership to accurately reserve against activities, forecast future investment and optimize returns and outcomes against a complex commercial agenda.
Support cost tracking, forecast and management across manufacturing sites, Brazilian manufacturing sites, a centralized warehouse, and various co-manufacturing facilities to ensure accurate cost information is provided to site leadership, to drive and deliver against a stretching Continuous Improvement agenda. Work with site leaders to ensure agile and responsive changes are made where volume ramps up or down.
Liaison with management teams of internal divisions including Canada and Brazil to ensure consolidated financial results of North America organization are understood.
Support the ongoing tracking and forecasting of key commodity prices including the US meat market, transport and fuel prices, and key foreign exchange currency pairings, and risks and situational changes are understood and communicated to leadership, and working with procurement teams to map out strategic changes in buying to address existing or future risks.
Lead the reporting and communication of spending across SG&A spending buckets and provide clear reporting to leaders to ensure that spending is managed, controlled, and forecast accurately.
Support the ongoing maintenance and protection of master data across the organization including synchronization to customers and adherence to key data governance rules.
Provide coaching and support to a team of over 80 finance team members across various facilities and sites, promote personal growth and development, and support and demonstrate opportunities for career growth and progression within Jack Link’s finance organization.
** TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:**
Approximately 10%-15% travel depending on business needs.

The salary range for this role is $290,000 - $330,000 (Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
