Private Equity Firm with top-notch leaders has a need for a Chief Financial Officer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a key member of the Executive Management team, the CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related and operational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the strategic and financial direction of the Firm and its subsidiaries
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions including consolidation, preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results
- Review of all financial activities including intercompany transactions
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
- Create and manage financial processes and procedures for the accounting department
- Maintain banking and vendor relationships
Requirements:
- Proven history of successful growth within a financial services, private equity, or real estate investment firm
- 15+ years of accounting/finance experience with strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Must currently be local to South Florida; will not consider out-of-town candidates
