  • Responsibilities

    Private Equity Firm with top-notch leaders has a need for a Chief Financial Officer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a key member of the Executive Management team, the CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related and operational activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the strategic and financial direction of the Firm and its subsidiaries
    • Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions including consolidation, preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial results
    • Review of all financial activities including intercompany transactions
    • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
    • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
    • Create and manage financial processes and procedures for the accounting department
    • Maintain banking and vendor relationships

    Requirements:

    • Proven history of successful growth within a financial services, private equity, or real estate investment firm
    • 15+ years of accounting/finance experience with strong leadership and mentoring skills
    • Must currently be local to South Florida; will not consider out-of-town candidates
