    Chief Operating Officer (COO) Franchise Operations

    Location: Allen, TX Preferred, Hybrid Job Type: Full Time Compensation: $150,000 to $250,000 annually

    Special Strong is a fast-growing adaptive fitness franchise serving children, adults, and veterans with disabilities across the United States.

    We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer to partner directly with our Founder and CEO and lead the next stage of growth.

    We have approximately 25 operating franchise locations today and plan to scale to more than 100. We need a proven operator who can turn vision into execution, build strong leaders, improve franchise performance, and create the systems required to scale.

    Dallas Fort Worth candidates are strongly preferred. This role will work from our Allen headquarters two to three days per week. Relocation or regular executive travel may be considered for exceptional candidates.

    What You Will Own

    • Lead day-to-day company operations

    • Scale franchise operations and support

    • Turn strategic priorities into measurable execution

    • Build systems, processes, KPIs, and accountability

    • Improve franchisee profitability and unit economics

    • Lead onboarding, training, compliance, and operational excellence

    • Recruit, coach, and develop leaders

    • Improve financial and operational performance

    • Help prepare the company for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and long-term growth

    What We Are Looking For

    • 10 or more years of senior leadership experience

    • Franchise or multi-unit operations experience

    • Proven success scaling a growing organization

    • Strong operational, financial, and people leadership

    • Experience leading senior teams

    • Bachelor's degree

    Preferred experience includes previous COO or VP of Operations leadership, EOS Integrator experience, MBA, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, or integration.

    Compensation

    $150,000 to $250,000 annually based on experience and results.

    Compensation may include base salary, performance bonuses, paid time off, and additional long term incentives based on performance and company growth.
