    About the Opportunity:

    A rapidly growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) manufacturer of premium consumer products in the outdoor industry is seeking an experienced operations leader to step in as Chief Operating Officer (COO). This confidential search is for a founder-led company looking to bring in mature, strategic leadership to run daily operations and help scale the business to the next level.

    This is a critical leadership hire — ideal for someone who's served as a Director of Operations, VP of Operations, GM , or early-stage COO , and is ready to take full ownership of operational excellence and team leadership.

    What You'll Own:

    • Lead all internal operations — including production, supply chain, fulfillment, and customer experience
    • Implement systems and processes to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability
    • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and help translate vision into execution
    • Provide strong leadership to a growing team, mentoring department leads and setting performance expectations
    • Bring stability and structure to a family-run business navigating its next phase of growth

    Ideal Background:

    • 8+ years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing, consumer product, or DTC environment
    • Experience scaling an early-stage company or running day-to-day operations in a founder-led business
    • Experience in implementing EOS (entrepreneurial operating system)
    • Demonstrated success in team building, change management, and process optimization
    • High EQ and maturity — someone who can lead in complex environments and unify a team
    • Passion for product, consumer experience, and hands-on leadership
    • Must be based in (or willing to relocate to) the Salt Lake City area — this is an on-site role
