We're looking for a driven Chief Operating Officer to help take our client to the next level!
Our client is a high-growth Bitcoin mining infrastructure company building, operating, and scaling industrial-grade hosting and energy-backed compute operations. They operate at the intersection of energy, real estate/industrial development, hardtech, and technology-enabled operations , with an emphasis on premium customer experience and scalable systems.
They're scaling quickly from $10M+ to $100M+ in revenue , and we are building the team that can run at high speed with increasing complexity without relying on executive heroics.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a rare opportunity to architect the operating backbone of a fast-scaling business at the edge of infrastructure and innovation. You'll partner with a seasoned leadership team to stabilize departments, remove chaos, and implement systems that scale, all while freeing the executive team from day-to-day execution.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Own day-to-day execution across Ops, Billing, Sales, and Customer Service
- Run the operating cadence: weekly exec meetings, KPI dashboards, and performance reviews
- Build internal communication systems to reduce dependency on founders
Cross-functional impact
- Assess and support (or restructure) department leads across multiple verticals
- Lead cross-functional projects across customer operations, sales, and billing
- Align all teams to a shared rhythm with clear ownership and deliverables
Systems/process ownership
- Design and implement scalable SOPs, playbooks, and internal reporting systems
- Overhaul broken or manual financial and billing systems disrupted by recent vendor changes
- Build customer support systems that prevent fire drills and protect client experience
Decision-making scope
- High trust and autonomy to triage problems, set priorities, and implement durable fixes
- Authority to build new layers of leadership and upgrade underperforming systems or talent
- Collaborate directly with current COO and executive team to shape future org structure
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Has scaled a company from less than $20M to $50M+ revenue
- Proven operator across complex, cross-functional environments
- Experience implementing systems in billing, operations, customer service, and team performance
- High-agency leader comfortable in high-ambiguity, high-growth startups
- Strong communication and ability to create clarity quickly
- Willingness to work alongside and potentially succeed current COO
Preferred:
- Industry experience in Bitcoin mining, infrastructure, or energy
- Familiar with QuickBooks and internal finance workflows
- Prior experience rebuilding systems after disruption such as vendor exits or deplatforming
- Open to starting fractional or project-based with potential path to full-time COO
