We are expanding our executive leadership team and looking for hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead the talented team who are building a unique and innovating technology stack and support system that helps our local branches to run their business more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Build, continuously improve and seamlessly roll out our technology stack that helps to run our local branches, to streamlined operations unlock data analytics to drive both efficiencies and growth
End-to-end technology leadership from leading our small technology team in their day-to-day operations, supervising a small team across building systems, collaborating to roll them out and integrate at our branches, paired with training our branch teams on leveraging systems end-to-end
Developing strategies for advancing partnerships, technology platforms (eg. ERP, CRM, Payroll, Field Service/Tracking, Sales solutions and more) and ensuring all platforms are working together in closely coupled system
Meet with local custom integration firm owners to assess their existing technology systems and customize integration plans that ‘do no harm’ and carefully migrate them to new systems, as well as train them and ensure their comfort level with day-to-day operations with those systems
Continuously maintain relationships and feedback loops with these branches to ensure usability and satisfaction
Conduct technical reviews of products and solutions to evaluate their applicability, their customization
Monitor the management of hardware and software licenses and projecting future needs
Develop, track, and control the development of annual capital and operating budgets for purchasing tools, staffing and ensuring effective operations
Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to meet the internal financial targets
Work closely with the regional and branch leaders, SMEs in each department, marketing, business development and operations team to deliver new and enhanced products that support their efforts
Oversee central IT/Help desk function that ensure all team onboarding and offboarding, access to systems, troubleshooting and more
Tracking, analyzing, and monitoring technological performance metrics – particularly tracking to deadlines, to budget and to branch and team satisfaction goals
Key Experience
10+ years of experience in software engineering and development roles with 5 years in senior leadership roles
Start-up and growth stage experience ideal
Possesses deep expertise in implementing business systems (with preferred experience in NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics/Dynamics 365) as well as leveraging AI and Copilot
A highly support team player on the senior leadership team who holds themself highly accountable to our branche’s success and satisfaction with our technology support systems
Strong communicator who will be expected to present network wide on key initiatives, progress, results and what to look out for
Experience overseeing Technical PMs, IT team members, developers and training teams
