What You’ll Do:

• Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the hotel’s physical structure, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, pool, whirlpool, and related equipment
• Assign, supervise, and verify completion of maintenance, repair, and renovation projects across guest areas, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and grounds
• Hire, train, and manage department staff, including coaching and performance management
• Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies, budgets, and contractor schedules
• Maintain preventive maintenance and energy management programs, providing training to other departments on safe and efficient equipment use
• Keep accurate reports, correspondence, and documentation for all departmental activities
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment in an organized and accessible manner
• Be immediately available for emergencies, including power failures, floods, fires, or other critical situations
• Coordinate special projects, guest requests, and event-related modifications as needed

Who You Are

• Experienced, resourceful, and hands-on leader with knowledge of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC operations
• Reliable, professional, and flexible to work varying schedules and holidays
• Physically capable of standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in confined or awkward spaces
• Safety-minded and committed to maintaining compliance with all hotel rules and regulations
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and extreme temperatures
