    Position Overview

Growing family-run product business seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff to serve as a true right hand to ownership. This individual will help drive day-to-day operations, keep priorities moving, and act as a trusted representative of the CEO when he is unavailable.

This is not a traditional calendar-management Executive Assistant role. The ideal candidate is proactive, operationally minded, and comfortable stepping into leadership situations, making decisions, and ensuring the business continues running smoothly. They naturally identify opportunities for improvement, bring solutions to the table, and take ownership of implementation.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Prior Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Office Manager, Operations Manager, or Business Operations experience

    • Strong executive presence and professional judgment

    • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through

    • Self-starter who takes initiative without waiting for direction

    • Comfortable acting on behalf of ownership when appropriate

    • Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset

    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

    • Advanced Excel and spreadsheet proficiency

    • Manufacturing, product-based business, distribution, logistics, or supply chain experience is highly preferred

    • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as a trusted right hand to the CEO and help manage daily business priorities

    • Monitor and manage executive emails, communication, and follow-ups

    • Act as a point person and decision-maker when the CEO is unavailable

    • Coordinate across customers, vendors, factories, logistics partners, and internal teams

    • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements

    • Drive implementation of approved initiatives and ensure accountability

    • Organize projects, priorities, deadlines, and business initiatives

    • Assist with pricing analysis, reporting, and operational tracking

    • Ensure important details, communications, and commitments do not fall through the cracks

    • Create structure and improve workflows as the company continues to grow

    Important Note

This role includes daily evening email monitoring and responding as needed due to communication with international partners and multiple time zones. Flexibility, responsiveness, and ownership are critical to success.
