The Group Fitness Coordinator is a member of the Chiefs Fit team and plays a key role in the company’s overall success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Group Fitness and Studio Fit staff
Hire, train, supervise and schedule staff
Promote, teach, train staff in Cowboys Fit staff professionalism and sales
Evaluate staff
Manage time clock and report payroll
Responsible for Group Fitness equipment and recommend equipment purchases
Assist in creating and maintaining Group Fitness budget
Ensure cleaning of all group exercise equipment
Ensure preventive maintenance and maintenance of all group fitness equipment
Responsible for Group Fitness and Studio Fit programming
Create and develop new fitness programming, including cutting edge fitness programs, and group fitness programs
Work with Membership on the recruitment and retention of all members
Partner with Senior Fitness Director in the development and recruitment of special
All other duties as assigned
WORK SCHEDULE:This is a full-time exempt position. Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members. Your hours will include primetime hours and some weekends and holidays. All members of the Sales Teamwork the last two days of the month. Special events, promotions, and other demands will require some early mornings and late nights.KEY PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FACTORS:

A passion for health and wellness and the ability to influence people in overcoming their obstacles to exercising, joining a fitness club, and in making lifestyle changes
Enjoy networking and building relationships - comfortable on the phone and in doing outreach in the community
Commitment to providing top notch customer service and some experience working in a fast-paced customer service role
Computer-savvy and proficient in using programs such as Word & Excel
Team player who approaches challenges in a creative and positive manner
Experience in a sales environment focused on attaining revenue and unit goals is a plus
