Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, family, play, and activity therapy sessions
- Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM) schedule
- Provide services primarily in patients’ homes or community settings (approximately 75% of visits)
- Perform bio-psychosocial evaluations for children and adolescents
- Develop and implement person/family-centered treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed
- Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, and community agencies
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the EMR system
- Attend clinical team meetings, staff meetings, and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations
- May assist with community, residential, or institutional placements
- Maintain an average of at least 15 client visits per week
Requirements
- Compassionate, client-focused approach
- LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP license in the state of Michigan
- Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must meet DCH qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP)
- Comfortable working with a population aged birth to 18, primarily with Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED); some dual diagnoses with developmental disabilities
