About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County as a Child Care Center Assistant Teacher! This role is perfect for passionate individuals who love nurturing young minds and creating a fun, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Supervise and engage children in play and educational activities.

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about child progress.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Help with meal and snack preparation and cleanup.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or relevant coursework preferred.

Experience working with young children in a childcare setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Background check clearance required.
