    About the Role:

    Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. We’re looking for a caring and dependable Cook to join our team! In this role, you’ll help fuel young minds by preparing healthy, kid-friendly meals and snacks. If you love cooking and want to make a real difference in children’s daily lives, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

    What You’ll Do:

    Prepare nutritious meals and snacks that align with CACFP guidelines and dietary needs.

    Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

    Track inventory and place food orders as needed.

    Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with our CACFP Contracting Entity requirements.

    Collaborate with staff and attend trainings related to child nutrition and health.

    Maintain a tidy kitchen space, including cleaning dishes, equipment, and prep areas.

    Who You Are:

    You have a heart for kids and a passion for healthy food.

    Prior cooking experience is a plus—but not required!

    You’re willing to get (or already have) a current Food Handler’s Certificate.

    You understand basic food safety practices and can adapt to dietary needs.

    You’re organized, efficient, and ready to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

    You’re flexible, dependable, and eager to be part of a supportive team.
