  • Responsibilities

    Full-Time Bookkeeper As a key member of the Fiscal Department, the Bookkeeper will provide fiscal support, administrative assistance, and undertake clerical tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the agency. Compensation: $25 hourly ($45,500 when annualized) Responsibilities: • Assist in managing daily bookkeeping and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. • Support in processing and paying all invoices in a timely manner; assist with the annual contract reporting process for vendors. • Aid in preparing bank deposits and managing backup files, including scanning, and uploading to the cloud. • Produce timely reports from provider and parent databases upon request. • Collaborate closely with the Office Manager on agency support functions, including operating office machines and office maintenance. • Perform other related duties and additional tasks as required. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Proficiency in using computer software, especially Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based storage platforms. • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
