With more than 1000 programs serving Nassau County children and families, CCCN is looking for dynamic, motivated, and passionate individuals to join our growing team. The Child Care Council of Nassau, Inc., a private, not-for-profit organization, is currently seeking a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our Early Childhood Services department. Responsibilities: As an Administrative Assistant for the Early Childhood Services Department, you will: • Coordinates professional development training for all modalities of child care (Family, Group Family, Center, and School Age). • Craft compelling print publications and email campaigns to promote our professional development opportunities to educators in the community. • Handle invoicing and payment processing for all professional development activities. • Maintain a comprehensive database of training activities, collaborating closely with training specialists to ensure smooth operations. • Assist with agency support functions, maintain accurate records, and compile data for departmental grants, contributing to our overall success. • Participate in in-service training, agency events, and conferences to stay updated and connected in the field. • Embrace additional tasks as required by your supervisor, showcasing your adaptability and dedication to our mission. Qualifications: • An Associate degree, preferably in a related field, is preferred. • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, as it allows for broader community engagement. • A minimum of two years of administrative support experience, with a keen eye for detail. • Previous experience in the early childhood education field is highly desirable. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, ensuring effective interactions with participants and stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and the ability to quickly learn new applications. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 yearly
