    We are seeking an experienced, caring, and organized Child Care Director to lead daily operations and ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for early childhood education, staff development, and family engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Administration

    Oversee daily operations of the daycare center to ensure efficiency, quality care, and smooth functioning

    Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and programming

    Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal childcare regulations and licensing requirements

    Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation

    Staff Management

    Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate daycare staff

    Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities

    Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture

    Develop and manage staff schedules to maintain appropriate child-to-staff ratios

    Child Care & Curriculum Oversight

    Ensure the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum

    Monitor classroom environments to uphold high standards of care and education

    Support staff in addressing the developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs of children

    Promote the health, safety, and well-being of all children

    Family & Community Engagement

    Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through open communication and support

    Address parent concerns in a timely, professional manner

    Organize and lead family engagement events and activities

    Serve as a liaison between families and staff

    Financial & Operational Management

    Manage the center’s budget, including tuition and operational expenses

    Oversee enrollment processes and maintain optimal enrollment levels

    Ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost control

    Coordinate purchasing of supplies and equipment

    Compliance & Safety

    Maintain licensing standards and ensure readiness for inspections

    Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience

    · Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    · Minimum [3–5] years of experience in childcare or early childhood education

    · At least [2–3] years in a supervisory or leadership role

    Certifications (Preferred Required)

    · CPR and First Aid Certification

    · Background Check

    Work Environment

    · Frequent interaction with children, staff, and families

    · Ability to lift up to [25–50 lbs] and participate in daily activities
