Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Office Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and administrative support to our employees, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, greeting families and visitors, writing correspondence and miscellaneous clerical tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a warm friendly demeanor.
This is a Monday through Friday shift, 8:00am to 1:30pm, with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Assist Director with administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Process new child enrollments
Assist with ECEAP program clerical tasks
Maintain existing office procedures
Sort and distribute mail
Communicate and work regularly with offsite bookkeeper
Data entry, filing and scanning of paperwork
Greet and assist families and guests as they arrive
Provide tours to potential new families
Answer phones and manage correspondence
Address and resolve customer concerns with a professional attitude
Perform office supply orders as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative experience is preferred
Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
