Child Care Group Supervisor

Child Care Group Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the childcare program and providing leadership and support to teaching staff. The supervisor ensures classrooms are properly staffed, safe, organized, and operating in compliance with center policies and childcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, support, and provide direction to childcare staff.

Oversee daily classroom and center operations.

Ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios and classroom coverage.

Monitor lesson plans, classroom routines, and quality of care.

Support staff with behavior management and classroom concerns.

Ensure health, safety, and licensing requirements are followed.

Communicate professionally with staff, families, and administration.

Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance expectations.

Address daily operational concerns and report significant issues to the Director.

Help maintain a positive, professional, and child-centered environment.

Qualifications: Must meet applicable state requirements for a Child Care Group Supervisor and have experience working in an early childhood education setting. Associate degree in ECE preferred, or related field.

This position is 6:30am - 1:30pm Monday thru Friday Shift 2 is 1pm-6pm Monday - Friday
