Title: Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher — Opening Shift (Part-Time) Location: Children’s Lighthouse of Chantilly — Early Learning School (Chantilly, VA) Schedule: Early mornings (opening shift). Exact hours set at hire. Experience Required: Prior infant/toddler childcare experience is mandatory.

Role Summary We’re hiring a reliable early-morning Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to help open the school, welcome children, support morning routines, and ensure classrooms are safe, clean, and ready for the day.

Key Responsibilities

Open classroom(s): safety checks, setup, sanitation readiness, materials prep

Warm, calm drop-off support for infants/toddlers and families

Assist with feeding, diapering, transitions, and active supervision

Follow health/safety protocols consistently (diapering, bottle handling, cleaning)

Substitute backup: available for occasional additional coverage when needed (with notice)

Must-Haves

Infant/toddler childcare experience (licensed setting preferred)

Punctuality is non-negotiable (opening shift impacts ratios and operations)

Calm, steady presence; strong safety instincts
