Responsibilities in our Childcare Program:
Learn & implement the FrogStreet curriculum suitable for each age group of children!!
Support a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments through hands on modeling
Observe each child to help them improve their social skills and build self-esteem
Provided consistency in daily routines & care
Actively supervise children to ensure they are always safe; moving and grooving all day long!
Maintain a learning environment that is consistent with health and safety standards
Track & document children’s learning progress digitally!
Build partnerships with parents through daily communication
Collaborate with educators within our program! Knowledge is power!
Qualifications:
Aides must be at least 16 years of age to apply
Teacher/ Assistant Teacher: must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma/GED
Teacher/Assistant Teacher: must include approved post-secondary education coursework, CDA, ECE Degree
1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility/equivalent is required for Assistant Teacher or Teacher qualified.
