Husky House is a non-profit before and after school program in Lafayette, providing care for children 4-11 years old, before and after school and summer camp. Come join us and be an enthusiastic supporter of children's development! As a Teacher in our program, you will plan activities in a collaborative team environment. You will be joining a fun loving, passionate staff of professionals. Previous experience required. Salary dependent on experience.

We are currently seeking to fill 2 afterschool positions for a full time (30-40 hours per week) and a part time teacher (16-28 hours per week).

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a childcare - 1 year minimum

12 Units in ECE, Psychology, Nutrition, Physical Education (other units may be acceptable to satisfy the CCLD requirements)

Strong understanding of child development

Patient, kind, and nurturing

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
