    WHAT THEY DO:

    Senior Behavior technicians are the individuals who work directly with our clients

    and train other behavior technicians using the principles of applied behavior

    analysis (ABA). They spend their days making the lives for our clients and their

    families by teaching crucial skills such as language, social skills and adaptive

    skills. Additionally, they enhance and grow others professionally by offering

    onsite training, support, and mentorship. Our Senior RBTs learn from the

    children, their families, and colleagues as well; they're taught patience, flexible

    thinking, creativity and to unapologetically be their authentic selves.

    you through career development as a Senior Registered Behavior Technician

    (RBT). You will support children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and

    related disorders. CCBS will then provide the ambitious clinician ongoing

    professional development and career future career options as a Program

    Manager, and/or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

    CCBS offers each employee the opportunity for professional growth through our

    mentorship program, as well as program manager training, and our BACB

    supervision program. Our mentorship program sets each RBT and BCBA up with

    a qualified and supportive team member. Together, you will explore

    applied behavior analysis (ABA), collaborate on programming and treatment,

    challenge each other to reach for the stars, and ultimately change the lives of one

    another and the clients you work with. Our program manager and BACB

    supervision programs offer employees the opportunity to delve deeper into ABA,

    creating treatment plans, behavior support plans, trainings for supervisees and

    caregivers just to name a few!

    IN A NUTSHELL, WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO:

    • Implement and train others on skill acquisition & behavior reduction programs as

    designed by BCBAs

    • Move along treatment targets as clients achieve mastery

    • Engage in developmentally appropriate play skills with clients

    • Collect accurate data on a daily basis

    • Collect treatment integrity data

    • Collaborate with their clinical team

    • Provide fun and enriched environment for clients

    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the therapy location

    • Adhere to company policies and administrative duties

    • Promote CCBS mission and philosophies generating team spirit and creating and

    maintaining an environment that fosters staff satisfaction

    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required

    • At least 18 years of age

    • Reliable transportation and driving up to 40 miles a day between appointments

    • Various availabilities considered 

    • Able to engage in a physically demanding job

    • Must have valid CA driver's license

    • Clear TB test

    • Completed immunizations sequences

    • RBT certified

    • At least 1 year experience as an RBT

    Preferred Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self

    and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing,

    standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).

    • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and

    responsibilities.

    • Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50

    lbs.)

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Diverse staff and clientele

    • Treatment occurs in clinics, client homes and/or the community

    • Comfortable environment for staff, children and caregivers

    $17-22/hr DOE
