Who We Are Elevated Kids is a BCBA-owned company and a premier ABA/NDBI provider in the Greater Tri-State Area that is expanding to provide Occupational Therapy (OT) services. We specialize in a naturalistic, developmental approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and early intervention services for toddlers and young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays. Job Description We are seeking a creative and child-centered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about early childhood development, sensory integration, and learning through play! The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and young children with Autism and developmental delays and will join our expanding Pennsylvania team to help build and deliver our new OT service line.
This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced, rapidly growing, interdisciplinary team at the forefront of best-practice early intervention and Autism care.
General Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, play-based OT services in the child’s natural environment (home, preschool, community).
Conduct standardized OT assessments (e.g., PDMS-2, BOT-2, Sensory Profile, DAYC-2, HELP, fine-motor and visual-motor assessments).
Develop individualized OT treatment plans addressing: sensory processing and regulation, visual-motor integration, early ADLs and self-help skills, motor planning and coordination, and feeding support (as applicable)
Implement evidence-based OT interventions rooted in child-led, developmental, and strengths-based approaches.
Provide ongoing parent coaching to support functional skill development during daily routines.
Collaborate closely with BCBAs, Behavior Therapists, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure integrated and aligned care.
Document progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and prepare comprehensive progress reports.
Uphold AOTA standards of practice and ethical guidelines.
Participate in collaborative care meetings with the ABA/NDBI team.
Support shared clinical goals related to communication, social engagement, functional independence, and sensory regulation.
Conduct joint sessions or overlapping care when clinically beneficial.
Communicate clearly with families to ensure cohesive and consistent intervention across disciplines.
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Pennsylvania OT License
Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with young children (ages 0–8); Autism experience strongly preferred
Training or background in early intervention and/or sensory integration
Strong understanding of developmental delays and pediatric milestones
Compassionate, play-based approach to supporting skill development
Excellent communication, collaboration, and family-coaching skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centered intervention
Ability to work independently while being part of a multidisciplinary team
