    Paving the Way Multi-Service Institute is seeking a highly qualified Child Psychiatrist to join our compassionate team dedicated to promoting mental health and wellness among children and adolescents. In this vital role part time, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate both medication management and therapeutic interventions.     Key Responsibilities:

    Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents referred for services, providing accurate diagnoses based on the most current clinical standards.

    Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.

    Medication Management: Oversee medication management for clients, educating families about treatment options, medication adherence, and potential side effects.

    Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, and school personnel to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes.

    Documentation: Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and agency standards.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

    Licensure: Board certified/board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

    Experience: 2+ years of experience in a child and adolescent psychiatric setting preferred.

    Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-based approach and demonstrate cultural competence.

    Preferred: Experience in serving diverse populations, knowledge of community resources, and familiarity with electronic health records.
