    Job Summary

    Reliatus Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a dedicated team in Anchorage, Alaska. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families in a unique and vibrant community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapy, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents.

    • Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.

    • Provide evidence-based psychopharmacological management.

    • Offer individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate.

    • Collaborate effectively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, educators, and other healthcare professionals.

    • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records in compliance with all regulatory standards.

    • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision.

    • Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services when necessary.

    • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services.

    • Adhere to all ethical and professional standards of practice.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

    • Completion of an accredited residency program in General Psychiatry.

    • Completion of an accredited fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

    • Board-Certified n Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

    • Current, unrestricted medical license in the State of Alaska (or eligibility to obtain one).

    • DEA registration.

    • Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    • Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity.

    Preferred

    • Experience working in a community mental health setting.

    • Familiarity with the unique cultural and environmental factors of Alaska.

    • Experience with telepsychiatry.
