  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for clinic administrative duties in support of the BU/MIT Technology and Cyberlaw Clinic, and Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Clinic. Assist faculty and students in client case administration including client intake, basic research, scheduling client interactions, and maintaining client case management systems. Support faculty in class preparation, maintaining Blackboard sites and arranging for rooms and academic media support when necessary. Develop and distribute event marketing materials. Work closely with clinic directors to maintain strong intra/inter-BU & MIT relationships, and to identify grant and fundraising opportunities. Monitor clinic finances and assist on special projects and reports.

    Required Skills

    B.A./B.S., strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external colleagues. Proficient in MS Suite, working knowledge of Wordpress, InDesign and Photoshop and experience with databases. Ability to use discretion in working with confidential information, a demonstrated ability to multi-task. Experience in administrative roles, preferably in a law firm or other legal setting. Self-motivated, assertive, and highly organized.
