We're looking for a cook who loves working with young children and takes food safety seriously. You'll prepare meals and snacks for about 100 students across our infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten classrooms, working from weekly menus with strict allergen protocols (our kitchen is nut-free, no exceptions).
What you'll do
Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks following our balanced menu
Track and manage food allergies and dietary restrictions across classrooms
Keep the kitchen nut-free and allergen-safe at all times
Help plan food orders and portion amounts
Work alongside our leadership team on menu planning, ensuring that each meal meets state requirements
What we're looking for
1-3 years of food service or cooking experience (school/childcare kitchen experience a plus, but not required)
Comfortable managing allergies and food restrictions carefully and consistently
Able to lift up to 35 lbs
Reliable, on time, and comfortable working in a small kitchen team
Schedule: Monday-Friday, set daytime hours — no nights, no weekends, no rotating schedule.
