About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and flexible Childcare Teacher – Full-Time Support to join our early childhood education team. This role provides support throughout the center by assisting teaching staff, helping maintain classroom routines, and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with young children, adapts well to changing needs, and is passionate about supporting high-quality early learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers with daily classroom activities, routines, and transitions.

Provide classroom assistance to help maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, and rest periods.

Assist with preparing classroom materials and organizing learning spaces.

Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Provide classroom coverage and assistance as needed throughout the day.

Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environments.

Collaborate with teachers and leadership to support daily center operations.

Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Reliable, flexible, and able to support different classroom needs.

Patient, positive, and attentive when working with children.

Preferred Skills

Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or early learning environment.

Understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.

Ability to support classroom routines and transitions.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
