About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and caring Childcare Teacher – Part Time to assist with classroom support and end-of-day routines in our early childhood learning center. This position helps teachers maintain a safe, organized, and engaging environment while ensuring children are supported and supervised throughout the afternoon and closing hours.

The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys working with young learners, and can provide extra support wherever it’s needed to help classrooms run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, transitions, and closing routines.

Prepare and set up learning materials and classroom activities.

Provide additional support in classrooms as needed to ensure a smooth end-of-day process.

Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Reliable, flexible, and able to assist in different classroom environments.

Patient, supportive, and enthusiastic when working with children.

Preferred Skills

Experience in a childcare center, preschool, or daycare environment.

Understanding of child development and play-based learning.

Ability to support teachers and help maintain structured routines.

Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of different classrooms.
