Children of Life Academy Tutoring Center opening in January 2024!

We are seeking experienced tutors for our new Academics and Resource Center - Elementary to High School students in Chula Vista/Eastlake.

HOURS OF OPERATION 2:30 PM TO 7 PM (Hours may vary depending on scheduled student sessions) SATURDAY'S 9 AM TO 1 PM PART-TIME - CHOOSE PREFERRED WORK DAYS AND HOURS

Our new tutoring center is the ideal place for individualization or group tutoring in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Subjects we focus on are: Reading comprehension, math, biology, chemistry, writing, spanish, homework assistance and more!

Our approach is unique in that we cater to the specific needs of the local elementary up to high school students in their academic success!

Applicants Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree
• Teaching Credential preferred
• Looking for qualified applicants who are: self starters, highly motivated, driven, energetic, flexible, professional, adaptable.
• Prior tutoring preferred.
• Well versed in a minimum of two academic subjects

Primary duties include:

• Instruct students on an individual or group setting
• Help students develop good habits and perform at highest level
• Always use positive behavior management skills
• Ability to relate with all ages
• Ability to manage client and parent communication
• Ability to have fun and make learning enjoyable
