    ABOUT YOUR ROLE: This position performs a variety of job duties under the supervision of the Clinical Director and recognizes clinical updates and recommendations from the written order. Develops and directs the individualized treatment of clients collaboratively with consumers and families. Provides consultation, assessment, observation, treatment plan development, data collection, and analysis specific to identified target behaviors. Develops and implements an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) with the child and family, identifying and highlighting child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths as well as areas in which the individual needs improvement. Provision of this service may include preference assessments, reinforcement, extinction, time-out strategies, or other rehabilitative activities as prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and referenced in the client’s Individual Treatment Plan. DO YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS?

    Individuals who provide individual services through behavior consultation services must meet one of the following:

    licensed in this Commonwealth as a behavior specialist

    certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis

    graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from a college or university

    minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults

    AND a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling

    Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum

    AND have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Must have PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances

    Excellent written and verbal skills

    Reasoning ability skills

    Organized and efficient

    Leadership qualities

    Possess knowledge of the basic principles of psychology and related behavioral sciences

    Possess knowledge of mental disabilities, treatments, and social implications

    Possess knowledge of psychological techniques, theories, and practices employed in the modification of human behavior
