    What is KidStrong?

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. Our program is a milestone accelerator for children from walking age through 11 years old, designed to help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build confident, future-ready kids who thrive on the playground, in the classroom, and in life.

KidStrong Tempe is growing rapidly and seeking an energetic, passionate Children’s Coach excited to engage with kids and parents while making a real impact every day.

    Why Join KidStrong

Work with a fun, high-energy, and professional team that loves what they do!

Coach and mentor children to help them reach their full potential.

Teach parents how to help their kids grow stronger, smarter, and more confident.

Enjoy flexibility with part-time or full-time scheduling options.

    The Role

We’re looking for a coach with athletic or teaching experience (preferably working with kids ages 12 months–11 years). Coaches lead classes focused on brain, physical, and character development using our evolving monthly curriculum and engage parents in understanding “the why” behind what we do.

    Typical Hours:

Weekdays: 9 AM–11 AM and evenings until 7 PM

Weekends: 8 AM–12 PM Flexible scheduling and opportunities for additional hours through private parties and special programs.

Experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required.

    Responsibilities

Lead fun, high-energy classes (6–15 kids, ages 1–11) following the KidStrong curriculum.

Maintain class flow and timing; greet families before and after each class.

Deliver energetic, motivating instruction while ensuring proper form and safety.

Keep the center clean — including floors, lobby, restrooms, and equipment.

Record attendance, awards, and class data in the KidStrong Coach App.

Communicate professionally with team members via Slack and attend staff meetings/training sessions.

Complete certification and ongoing training through the HQ Training Team (FranConnect).

Be physically active throughout shifts — moving, lifting equipment (up to 25 lbs), and assisting children as needed.

Support parents during classes for children under three years old.

Participate in monthly staff programming meetings and seasonal “Coach KidStrong Academy” camps.

    Qualifications

Genuine passion for working with kids — non-negotiable!

Prior experience coaching or teaching young children preferred.

Strong communication skills with both children and parents.

Intermediate understanding of exercise, movement, and body mechanics.

CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Positive, energetic, self-motivated team player who thrives in the spotlight.
