TRAINING BEGINS FEBRUARY 28TH, 2022. MON-THURS FROM 7:30 AM-3:30 PM.
The 6-WEEK TRAINING is NO COST TO YOU. The training will take place in WEST COVINA FOR LECTURES AND ALHAMBRA FOR HANDS ON EXPERIENCE. After completion, you will be placed in the office closest to you. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.

- YOU WILL LEARN DENTAL TERMINOLOGY, X-RAY, STERILIZATION, CHARTING, AND INFECTIONS CONTROL AND MUCH MORE
- DA TRAINING ARE 4-6 WEEKS LONG
- HANDS ON EXPERIENCE
- $2.00- $3.00 RAISE AFTER COMPLETING X-RAY AND INFECTIONS CERTIFICATION
- BECOME AN RDA AFTER 15 MONTHS

JOB DUTIES:
- Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Take patients' medical history, blood pressure and pulse
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or dental treatment procedures
- Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
- Take impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
- Take necessary pre-op/post-op x-rays for insurance
- Chart/enter treatment into Dentrix Ascend
