Job Summary:
The Gym Director is a full-time career-level position, responsible for the overall performance of The Little Gym of Elk Grove and will report directly to the owners. We are looking for experienced managers from the gymnastics / child development field. We are open to working with candidates from different industries if they have related experience and include a cover letter with their application.
Responsibilities:
Teach GREAT gymnastics classes to kids based on our proven curriculum and teaching method
Lead a team in providing outstanding customer service and membership experience second to none
Manage day-to-day operations
Hire, manage, and oversee the training of staff
Maintain facility and equipment
Sell The Little Gym program to new customers
Qualifications:
Child development, early childhood education, and/or physical education experience required; gymnastics experience is a plus
Customer service experience (minimum 1 year), preferably with parents and children
Management and leadership experience (minimum 1-2 years)
Technical and computing skills, ability to learn new processes and software quickly
Great attitude and strong work ethic, excellent time management skills
Loves to have fun and not only smiles easily but finds joy in making others smile
