    Job Description

    Employment Specialist provides support through the teachings of life skills and employment readiness.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Resourceful community liaison, establishing rapports and linkages to potential employers for job leads
    • Partner’s with clients in resume building, mock interviews and completion of their career profiles
    • Flexible schedule, to conduct home visits, business attire shopping for candidate interviews and possible commuting to and from the candidate’s scheduled interviews
    • Collaborates with department of rehab and attends IPS meetings with County and within CII
    • Passion and commitment to working with adults for preparation and readiness in the workplace

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field form a four-year university required.
    • 2 years of case management experience.
    • 1 year of employment assistance.
    • 1 year experience of public engagement and community relations
    • Possess a valid driver’s license and state-required auto insurance
    • Extensive traveling in the field, up to 65%
    • Spanish/English bilingual preferred
