Our office is situated in the heart of Columbia close to the Vista Area.

    We are looking for awesome, compassionate therapist who is passionate about children!!!!

    The perfect candidate would be trained in child specific treatment (CPP, TF-CBT, PCIT, CPRT, Theraplay, or Certified in play therapy). We are looking for someone to serve the children in Columbia with evidence-based therapy that is effective and efficient. Ellie understands the importance of including family components and would also prefer the candidate to be trained in family systems work and have a knowledge base to lead the family toward continued healing in the home The ideal candidate will thrive in a culture that emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance and determination.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy

    Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

    Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals

    Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol

    Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25-27 client visits per week

    Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed

    Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

    Contribute to a supportive team culture

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university

    Fully licensed mental health professional (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.) with a valid license in the state of South Carolina

    Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes

    Effective written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients

    Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

    Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base

    Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)

    Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
